Investment information: investment tier, amounts, payment details (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
Operational data: tobacco delivery weights, curing batch data, grading records, GPS coordinates of villages
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited
Communication data: messages submitted through contact forms, consultation requests

To manage merchant contracts and village operations
To maintain farmer traceability records as required by TIMB regulations

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

Stripe (payment processing — subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
TIMB (Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board — farmer registration data as required by regulation)
Diamond Standard (carbon credit verification — anonymised operational data)
Professional advisers (auditors, legal counsel — under confidentiality obligations)
Contracted tobacco merchants (farmer and traceability data relevant to their contracted farmers only)

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe using industry-standard encryption. Access to farmer and operational data is role-restricted — merchants see only their own farmers, farmers see only their own records.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Investment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years. Farmer traceability records are retained for the duration of the management contract plus 5 years.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@marillion.ai. Note that certain data (TIMB grower records, traceability data) may be subject to regulatory retention requirements.
